I have also received alot of help from the most Famous Crackerbox
Racer and builder of all time, my wonderful friend, Bob Patterson.
In 1997 Skip & Patty Vaughn , The Long Beach Boat  and Ski Club along
with myself and my wife Debbie brought back the "Regatta of Champions",
to the Queen Mary Bay; we raced next to the Queen Mary for 3 years.
This ultimately led to the City of Long Beach granting S.C.S.C. with
Ross Wallach  Circle Boat Racing back in the Long Beach Marine Stadium..
My Dad, Jeff  Sornborger, raced a Cracker in the 50s and P-37 was his
number, which is now my racing number; we have kept the number in our family for
nearly 60 years.
